Mumbai: Actors Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were spotted chilling like villains in Goa and a photo of the stars from their trip is doing the rounds on the Internet.

While love may be in the air for the duo, Goans are horrified and aghast about some local news reports about how Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor were zipping around on a motorbike at break-neck speed in Goa without helmets.

Journalist Flynn Remedios of Lokhancho Ekvott posted a photo of the duo on social media rebuking the duo for their care-a-damn attitude and scant respect for the law of the land. “If our youth icons and role models from Bollywood behave like this – drive rashly without helmets at top speed, what can we expect of lesser mortals and humble tourists who come to Goa to let their hair down. Remedios also tagged the Goa Police requesting them to fine the duo for breaking the rules. Common people and Goans are fined everyday for riding without helmets, why should celebs be exempt,” Remedios asked?

Several Goans took to social media to condemn the act by the Bollywood actors. Another editor of a local Goan website wrote on his Facebook Page rebuking the actors for not following rules. Prominent citizens have appealed to the Goa CM Pramod Sawant to take action, because such acts set a trend and give the impression that anything goes in Goa.

Remedios said the duo should be asked to tender a public apology at the least for riding at speed without helmets.

Kartik and Janhvi co-star in Dostana 2. The duo were in Goa recently, but it is still not clear whether they flew out of Mumbai for their film shoot or just for a vacation.

In the now-viral photo, Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor can be seen twinning in white outfits – he looks super cool in a white t-shirt while the actress can be seen wearing a white crop top and checkered pants. The photo has been shared by several fan clubs and is now trending on social media.

While most people thought that Kartik and Janhvi were clicked together at the airport to resume their shoot for Dostana 2, the reality is otherwise.

Goa Times posted some pictures of Kartik and Janhvi in Goa where the two are seen on a cozy bike ride with their masks on. The two young actors who have become good friends were snapped holidaying together in Goa last week.
