Bollywood Singer Rahul Jain, brother and mother booked for rape, cheating, causing forceful abortion of unborn child
MUMBAI: Reliable sources informed IndyaTv that well-known Bollywood and playback singer Rahul Rajendra Jain and two or three of his family members have been booked for rape, cheating, causing miscarriage or forcing a woman to undergo an abortion against her will, and other sections of the IPC.
The FIR was registered on Tuesday morning by the Mumbai police and investigation is going on.

Police have registered an FIR under sections 376 (2) N (rape with the involvement of other persons), 313 (forced miscarriage/abortion without consent of the mother/victim), 420 (cheating), 406 (breach of trust) and 34 (common intention) at the Oshiwara Police Station in suburban Mumbai.
The lawyer for the complainant victim, Adv Chandrakant Ambani of C A Legal has confirmed the above development and said an FIR under the above mentioned sections has been registered.
The victim woman in her complaint and FIR statement, has alleged that Jain had sexual relations with her over a period of time, on the pretext of marriage and when she got pregnant, forced her to get an abortion done. This happened on three occasions and the next time she got pregnant, she decided to have the child.

Sources said the woman was forced to undergo abortions on three occasions against her will and one abortion was done at the Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital near Four Bungalows in suburban Mumbai.
Along with Rahul Jain, 2 or 3 members of his family have also been booked including his mother Padma Rajendra Jain and his brother Amit Rajendra Jain.
Rahul Jain who originally hails from Indore in Madhya Pradesh, presently lives at Lokhandwala in suburban Mumbai. He was first seen in the reality show MTV Aloft Star, which led to his Bollywood debut with the song Teri Yaad in the movie Fever in 2016.
The victim was taken for medical examination at a local government hospital on Tuesday and investigation is going on.
