Shraddha Walkar was dependent on Aftab Poonawalla for weed, took drugs regularly

NEW DELHI: According to the latest information coming in, Shraddha Walkar, who was murdered by her live-in boyfriend Aftab Poonawalla, and her body chopped into 35 pieces, used to regularly smoke weed and “doobs” and was dependent on Aftab Poonawalla for her daily fix of drugs.

Shraddha was not paying Aftab for the drugs he provided her, which also was a reason for fights between the two. According to media reports, Aftab claimed that Shraddha owed him a huge sum of money and he was demanding the same from her. After he murdered her, he transferred Rs 54,000/- from her account to his and told the police during interrogation that she owed him that amount.

Aftab also told the Delhi police that he had developed a hatred for her and there was a lot of built-up anger and frustration against her, that eventually led to the murder after a big fight between the duo. Aftab had smoked weed and come home on that fateful night, when Shraddha started screaming at him. In a fit of anger, he rushed towards her and strangled her to death.

Aftab told police that Shraddha used to take doobs and brownies (Marijuana) from him and did not pay him for them.
