MUMBAI: The investigating officer (IO) in the Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd molestation case, where a woman filed a molestation complaint against the CEO of the company Vibhu Agarwal, alleging that she was molested and threatened by the CEO and another employee of the company, failed to record the additional statement of the victim today.

The victim had intimated the officer that she was available for recording her statement on Saturday, but the IO failed to summon the victim for investigation and recording the statement.

The victim who is a practicing lawyer had approached the Zonal DCP Abhishek Trimukhe in the month of August, alleging that the male officer (IO) at the Amboli PS seemed to be biased against her and appeared to be supporting the accused persons including the country head of Ullu Digital Anjali Raina and CEO Vibhu Agarwal in the case, which enabled the accused persons to get interim anticipatory bail from the Dindoshi Sessions court.

An FIR for molestation, etc., against officials of the Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd was registered in August this year, by a former woman employee who was the Legal Head of the company.

The Amboli police station is investigating the case. The victim had alleged that the company was involved in producing pornographic content and films for its Ullu and Cheeti Apps and pornographic audio podcasts for its Lattu App, and forced and blackmailed her to act/give porn voice-overs for these projects.

According to her complaint, when she refused, they trapped her and two associates, in a false extortion case, in which she secured bail from the Lucknow sessions court.

Ullu Digital CEO Vibhu Agarwal was unavailable for comment, in spite of several attempts to contact him for his version or side of the story.

The 28-year-old victim/complainant who registered the FIR at the Amboli Police Station in suburban Mumbai (FIR No. 622/21) u/s 354, 354B, 506, etc., of the IPC against Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd and others, has alleged in her initial statement to the police that the CEO of Ullu App, Vibhu Agarwal forced her to remove her undergarments and forced her to wear company product samples of Ullu Apparel, then one Anjali Raina, the Country Head of Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd along with Vibhu Agarwal clicked photographs of the victim in the Ullu brand undergarments as well as shot obscene videos of her, then later on used the videos to blackmail her.

The victim stated her mobile phone was forcibly confiscated and its contents and data deleted, when she was forcibly detained at the Ullu office in Mumbai, against her will. They also allegedly threatened to make her videos viral and harm her family.
