Goan model and actor Priyanka Divya Shirodkar bags crossover film to be screened at Spanish film festival

PANAJI: A Goan model and actor Priyanka Divya Shirodkar, 21, who hails from North Goa in the coastal state, will soon be seen in a crossover film which will be screened at the Spanish Film Festival next year.

The film is a festival project and not a commercial film. It will be released and screened at various Film Festivals across the world, starting with the Spanish Film Festival.

As reported earlier, she will also shoot with internationally-famed fashion and art photographer Lynn Baxter, the latter had said in a media statement.

Baxter, who was impressed with Priyanka Divya Shirodkar’s ethnic Indian and Goan looks, selected her for an exclusive fashion-art project, work on which will commence in the next 20 to 25 days.

Priyanka, who is active on social media, has always nursed an ardent desire to get into modelling and films and said she was thrilled to be associated with the Lynn Baxter project.

Photographer Lynn Baxter is an internationally famed film director and photographer associated with several big brands, models and projects and his work is normally showcased in Hollywood.

He has worked with several Indian models as well over the last 10 years.

Priyanka will be shooting an art fashion concept project based on Indian ethnic themes and inspired by the handmade jewellery worn by Indian tribal women during religious and marriage functions.
