Was BJP leader Sonali Phogat killed? Sister alleges foul play, says her food was poisoned

PANAJI: According to an India Today report, Sonali Phogat’s sister alleged a conspiracy to kill the actress as a reason behind her sudden death. ALSO READ: Sonali Phogat raped and murdered? Brother makes deadly allegations in complaint to Goa police

Speaking to the media, she said Sonali called home and complained about feeling uneasy after having her food.

She also alleged that Sonali suspected someone had mixed something with her food and that she had doubts that she was poisoned. ALSO READ: Sonali Phogat murder or poisoning? Cops register unnatural death case

According to a report on Bhaskar.com, Sonali called her home 3-4 times on Monday night. She alleged that something wrong was being done to her. She told her family that she would reveal everything after coming back home.

“She wanted to share something, but could not. We tried to call her via WhatsApp call,” her sisters claimed.

According to her elder sister, Ramon Phogat, they spoke on a normal voice call three to four times between 9 and 10 pm on Monday night. “Sonali was trying to tell me something but could not say it. After this she called me on WhatsApp and said that she was very scared. “When Sonali was talking to me on a WhatsApp call, her PA Sudhir Sangwan’s voice was heard in the background,” her sister claimed.

“Maybe that’s why she wasn’t able to speak openly. She seemed to be under a lot of tension. I asked her several times, but Sonali did not say much and disconnected the call saying that she would tell me everything upon to her return to Hisar,” her sister told media persons in Hisar. The Bigg Boss 14 fame actress breathed her last on Monday August 23 in Goa.

According to the Goa Police version, she suffered a massive heart attack in the night of Monday-Tuesday.

Sonali, along with some of her staff had travelled to Goa on August 22.

She went out to party that night and came back home the next day.

Sonali Phogat’s sister has now claimed something suspicious in the food she ate and the sudden manner of her death. ALSO READ: Was Sonali Phogat involved in a sex scandal or porn racket?

She has alleged that Sonali’s food was poisoned. However, the police has ruled out anything suspicious, but investigations are going on.

More information will be known after the post-mortem is completed.
