Tunisha Sharma suicide: Sheezan Khan breaks down, cries bitterly due interrogation in police custody

MUMBAI: According to police sources at the Waliv Police Station said Sheezan Khan broke down and cried bitterly during his interrogation. Initially, he was “acting smart” and giving us different reasons for the breakup and other issues including the fights between Tunisha and him.

But now as the realization of police custody and the possibility of having to spend time at either the Thane district jail or the Taloja Central Jail seeped into his mind, he broke down and cried bitterly.

According to an India Today report, “a lady officer from the Waliv Police Station informed AajTak about Sheezan Khan getting teary-eyed. The lady officer, who questioned Tunisha’s ex-boyfriend, said he broke down during the interrogation. For the last two days, he had been giving different reasons for his break-up with Tunisha. However, when a lady officer started questioning him, he broke down. The officer mentioned that Sheezan used to initially keep quiet but he got emotional last night (December 26).

Sheezan initially thought he would be released in a day, but now realised the gravity of Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code under which he is charged. He could be behind bars for another week at least, if the police press for further remand, a police source said.
