“My team and I are available to residents of Panjim 24×7, others wake up only 60 days prior to elections,” says Babush

PANAJI: Hitting out at his detractors and opponents, Panaji BJP MLA candidate Babush Monseratte today said that as the MLA of Panjim, he was and is available to residents of Panaji 24×7. The others wake up only 60 days before the elections and some of my opponents are only seen in Panjim once or twice a week.

“I have a dedicated office in Panjim which is open  almost 365 days a year. Even if I am travelling, my staff is available to help. I have a team. During the water crisis in Panjim, my team provided water tankers to almost every society, block or house in the constituency. Maybe I cannot help everyone, but I have tried my best to help most of the people who come to me. Where were the other candidates during the pandemic. Where was the Congress candidate during the pandemic. He was not even seen in Panjim. I do not want to target anyone or speak ill about my opponents, but the fact is I have tried hard to work for my constituency and be available to my people. Can my opponents say the same. They have woken up a few months before the elections and are “demanding” the voters of the constituency vote for them, which is not going to happen.”
