Mumbai: Model and actress Sagarika Shona Suman who first blew the lid off Raj Kundra’s actual ownership of the HotShots app and the UK-based company Kenrin Limited, has surprisingly come out in support of Ullu Digital CEO (owner of Ullu App) Vibhu Agarwal who has been accused by an ex employee of alleged molestation.

On Friday late night, Sagarika took to her Twitter handle (@SagarikaShona) and wrote:

“Vibhuji (Vibhu Agarwal) of #ullu #ulluapp is framed by vested interests. The complainant is misusing the law regarding #molestation. I fully support #Vibhuji & request @MumbaiPolice to conduct a fair investigation. It’s a case of #extortion & strict action must be taken against #golddiggers”, she wrote.

Sagarika copied the same post on her Insta account @sagarika.shona.suman.

According to media reports, a 28-year-old woman and former employee has accused the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vibhu Agarwal and country head Anjali Raina of the film production company, Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd, of sexual harassment.

A case was registered against the duo for sexual harassment, acting on the woman’s complaint at Amboli police station, in Western Mumbai on Wednesday.

No arrests have been made and Ullu Digital in a release has called the complaint fake, claiming that the complainant was earlier trying to allegedly extort money from the company.

Sagarika said she thinks there is much more than what meets the eye. In this case, there are two versions. The demeanor and behavior of the complainant is suspect. A woman who is molested and asked to disrobe will not wait for days or weeks to file a police complaint. She will do it within hours, Sagarika’s spokesperson said on her behalf.

“I support Vibhu ji and Team Ullu and hope they come out stronger and wiser after this incident,” Sagarika added.
