Gyanesh Bharti appointed as Commissioner of Delhi MC

NEW DELHI: Senior IAS officer Gyanesh Bharti has been appointed as the  Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

He is a 1998-batch IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories (AGMUT) Cadre.

The Union Home Ministry has also appointed senior IAS officer Ashwani Kumar as Special Officer for the MCD.
