Gehana Vasisth: Is Elvish Yadav bigger than Raj Kundra and SRK’s son?
MUMBAI: Actor and director Gehana Vasisth today questioned if ex-Bigg Boss OTT contestant Elvish Yadav was bigger than Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan and celebrity businessman Raj Kundra, besides others, both of whom were arrested in different cases.
She even took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle to ask these pertinent questions, after Yadav was let free by the Rajasthan police.
For those who came in late, Elvish Yadav has been named as an accused in a case involving protected snakes, illegally sourcing their venom for recreational drug use and other criminal offences.
Gehana hit out at the authorities for not arresting Elvish, alleging that there is sufficient evidence in the case to arrest him. “While in other cases, the authorities were quick to act, in this case, they seem to be going slow and are protecting Elvish. It looks like he is bigger than SRK’s son and businessman Raj Kundra,” she quipped.
She even tweeted to IAS officer Sameer Wankhede – who was responsible for arresting Shah Rukh Khan’s son asking why Elvish is not yet arrested.
Some details about the case:
1. An FIR was filed against Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav in connection with a rave party in Noida, Sector 49 on Friday in which snake venom was being used as a drug.
2. Elvish’s five associates have been taken into custody after the Drugs Department, Forest Department, and Noida Police conducted a joint raid at the rave party. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rahul, Titunath, Narayan, Ravinath and Jaikaran.
