Vaishali Thakkar suicide: Lookout Notice issued against Rahul Navlani and wife Disha Navlani
INDORE: The Indore Police investigating the Vaishali Thakkar suicide case have Wednesday issued a Lookout Notice or Lookout Circular against the absconding duo of Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha Navlani – neighbours of the deceased who are wanted in the suicide case.
Earlier on Monday, the Indore cops filed an FIR against the duo, naming both of them as accused after Vaishali’s suicide note clearly mentioned them as responsible for her taking the drastic step. In her suicide note, Vaishali while requesting her parents to forgive her for her act mentioned that the Navlani couple must be given the maximum punishment possible as they were responsible for driving her to suicide. According to news agency ANI, Vaishali Takkar’s mother demanded justice for the actress who was found dead at her residence in the Sai Bagh colony in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, under the limits of Tejaji police station, an official informed on Sunday.
The actress’ mother Anu Kaur Takkar said that the accused Rahul Navlani used to harass her and his wife believed that Vaishali was at fault for their uprooted marriage, while the actual truth was the other way round with Rahul forcing Vaishali to marry him. Rahul and his wife have gone underground as soon as news of Vaishali’s suicide broke out. They are likely to file for anticipatory bail before the Sessions court.
The Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narotam Mishra has announced an award of Rs 5000 each for anyone giving information about the absconding accused.
According to police sources, the name of one more suspect has surfaced in the case. The police are probing the role of Rohit, the brother of Disha Navlani in the matter and he is also under suspicion in the case, reports said.
