St Mary Advance Care Hospital, Vasai (W) offers over 100 medical and pathological tests completely FREE for residents of Naigaon, Vasai, Nallasopara and Virar

VASAI, PALGHAR: The St Mary Advance Care Hospital situated at Parnaka, Hathi Mohalla at Vasai (W) is offering residents of Vasai and neighbouring areas more than 100 free medical and pathological tests with the goal of identifying patients with hidden or dormant lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension, depression and cardiac ailments.

The FREE TEST WEEK is on from Saturday, 20th May to Sunday, 28th May, both days inclusive. Patients can avail of the following free medical and pathological tests including CBC, RBS (Random Blood Sugar), LFT (Liver Function Test), HbA1c (Glucose test for diabetes), Urine Routine, Albumin Urine Test, Protein Urine Test, ECG (electro cardiogram), Blood Pressure test (BP), CGM and more than 20 other tests.

Each patient can avail of any 2-3 free tests and only two patients per family will be tested to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance at the free testing and check-up opportunity.

According to a media statement issued by the hospital, the free testing service is offered to all residents of Naigaon, Vasai, Nallasopara and Virar to study the incidence of diabetes, hypertension, cardiac ailments and depression among the populace. Everyone is encouraged to avail of the free testing facility to find out if they are pre-diabetic or have any diabetes-related possibilities or cardiac ailments.

“With our advance testing models, we can predict if a 25-year-old youth has any existent issues or symptoms that could lead to diabetes say after 10 or 20 years, when he is 40 or 45 years old, said Dr Pranav Kabra who heads the St Mary Advance Care Hospital, adding that it is a social service for the benefit of the residents of the entire Vasai region.
