Senior Calangute Politician Involved In Siddhi Naik’s Death?

PANAJI: A reliable source – a 22-year-old youth, who was known to the late Siddhi Naik has revealed that the 19-year-old deceased teenager was having an affair with the driver of a powerful politician from the Calangute-Baga area. Speaking to this reporter, the youth revealed that the senior Calangute politician could also be involved in the death of the deceased, as his driver’s son had several fights with the girl and his PA had made several calls to a clinic as well as to a PSI (police sub inspector) with regard to the case.

It seems the politician in an attempt to sort out the matter had even called the deceased girl to his office, but she refused to turn up and his PA made several calls to a ‘common friend’ to bring her to the politician’s office for ‘negotiations’ regarding her relationship with the driver’s son.

As reported earlier (Read Here), the late Siddhi Naik was romantically involved with the son of a driver working for a powerful politician from the Calangute-Baga belt and after the duo broke up the driver tried to solicit the help of the politician and his PA in sorting out some issues.

Apparently, the driver’s son was not ready to accept Siddhi Naik’s decision to “break up” and resented her getting friendly with another lad.

Sources claim that Naik and the driver’s son had several fights in the days following her death/murder.

Days before her body was found in a semi-nude condition on the Calangute beach, she had broken off with the driver’s son and was ‘friendly’ with another boy from Mapusa,  sources said, adding that both the ‘boys’ must be interrogated at length to ascertain if any foul play was involved.

Sources have claimed that that Siddhi and her sister were simultaneously linked with more than one lad, which resulted in arguments and fights even at their home, with her parents scolding her for her ‘lifestyle’.
