Sagarika Shona Suman To Move Sessions Court Against Ullu CEO Vibhu Agarwal
MUMBAI: Actress and model Sagarika Shona Suman is moving a Mumbai Sessions Court at Dindoshi in suburban Mumbai, on Wednesday to cancel the interim anticipatory bail granted to Ullu Digital Pvt Ltd CEO Vibhu Agarwal and the country head Anjali Raina.
Speaking to this reporter, Sagarika said: “Vibhu Agarwal has managed to get interim anticipatory bail only because the Amboli Police Station has been favouring him from the start. The IO (investigating officer) has been managed. I have complained in writing to the CP (Commissioner of Police) and the Jt CP (Crime) but no action was taken. Firstly, in cases of crimes against women, a lady official should be appointed as the IO, but in this case which is sensitive in nature, it is surprising that a male officer has been appointed as the the IO. The IO is compromised from day 1. Even the complainant victim has said this on several occasions,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Vibhu Agarwal and Anjali Raina were supposed to attend the Amboli Police Station between 11 am and 2 pm today (Tuesday) as part of the conditional interim anticipatory bail granted to them. It is not known if they visited the police station. The IO was not available for comment.
“This is a totally new concept. I have heard of interim relief or interim protection from arrest granted by courts while the matters are being heard, but interim anticipatory bail seems to be a new concept. The police, the public prosecutor, all have been managed by the accused. People with deep pockets get all sorts of relief, but the poor languish in jail for months, even for petty crimes,” Sagarika complained.
The victim/complainant in this case met the Zonal DCP Abhishek Trimukhe at his office at Bandra on Tuesday evening with an additional written complaint and appraised the senior officer of the lapses in the investigation by the Amboli Police officials. The zonal DCP has promised to look into the matter.
