One more case registered against Singer-Composer Rahul Jain for molestation

MUMBAI: One more case has been registered against singer and music composer Rahul Jain, who originally hails from Indore but is now based in Mumbai.

The exact details are not known, but sources claim that a Delhi-based model and aspiring singer has accused Jain of molestation and attempt to rape her and submitted a written complaint to the police, who after verification have registered a case.

Rahul Jain is absconding for the last 10 days from his Mumbai, Lokhandwala flat after an FIR was registered at the Oshiwara police station in suburban Mumbai.

The Oshiwara police registered an FIR, following a complaint submitted by a 36-year-old lyricist against Jain and his family members. The cops booked Jain for allegedly raping the lyricist on the pretext of marriage. His mother and brother have also been booked.

According to the police, the victim got pregnant twice and both the times Jain forced her to abort the pregnancy, against her will. When she became pregnant the third time, she refused to go for an abortion and gave birth to a baby boy in March this year during the lockdown.

However, Jain refused to accept the child and forced the complainant to leave his house.

According to the police, Jain established a physical relationship with the victim on the pretext of marriage. In 2019, Jain took a rented apartment in Lokhandwala and both of them started living together. The victim has claimed in her complaint, that after the birth of their son, Jain refused to marry her and even forced her to leave the house.

She further said that he has refused to give her Rs 25 lakh, which he owes her for the professional work she has done as a lyricist.
