Not ruling out alliance between MGP and BJP for Elections 2022: Sudin Dhavalikar
PONDA: Marcaim MLA and former PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has not ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the Bharatiya Janta Party in Goa.
Speaking to media persons in Ponda after distributing free mobile phones to school students, the MGP leader said that the BJP had on two occasions betrayed the MGP, and hence he is not in favour of an alliance with them.
However, he hastened to add that the decision of aligning with the BJP is in the hands of Central Committee of the MGP who will take a decision at the right time.
On the entry of the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in Goa, he said the TMC is giving Congress and BJP a dose of their own medicine. “It’s time now BJP and Congress will pay for their political greed by encouraging defections and theft of MLAs from other parties,” Dhavalikar said.
He called upon the voters in Goa to teach the BJP and the Congress a lesson. “These parties had started the trend of splitting MLAs from smaller regional parties. And now the AAP and the TMC are doing the same to them. They are getting a taste of their own medicine,” he said.
