Mumbai porn racket: Dindoshi Sessions Court denies Anticipatory Bail to main accused Yasmeen Khan in Charkop FIR

MUMBAI: A Mumbai Sessions court at Dindoshi in suburban Mumbai has denied anticipatory or pre-arrest bail to the main accused Yasmeen Khan aka Yasmeen Dipankar Khasnavis in an FIR registered by the Charkop police. In an order dated 7th December, the 15th Court of Sessions at Dindoshi, Mumbai, rejected the anticipatory bail application no 1931 of 2002 and disposed off the matter.

The court heard the anticipatory bail application (ABA) of the main accused, who was represented by Adv. Ashok Yadav on Tuesday as well as the Public Prosecutor for the State and the police and posted the matter for today (Wednesday) for orders. The order was uploaded on the court website on Wednesday evening.

The FIR was registered under sections 354(a), 384, 420, 500, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 67,67(a) of the Information Technology Act. On Tuesday, the Charkop police added the sections of rape to the FIR.

A police official said four persons, including Yasmeen Khan, actor and director Anirudh Prasad Jangde, Amit Paswan and one Aditya are named in the new FIR, for threatening and blackmailing a woman to shoot nude and porn videos. Sources said that there are several women who were tricked into shooting adult content by the accused persons.

After the registration of this FIR, several women who were tricked into shooting adult or porn content by the same group have surfaced, alleging that they were blackmailed and cheated by the accused and there are at least four more victims and complaints against Yasmeen Khan in different police stations in Mumbai, Mira-Bhayandar and Vasai-Virar jurisdictions.
