Marathi actor Jayashree Gaikwad alleges Tunisha Sharma’s death a case of “Love Jihad”

MUMBAI: Marathi actor and OTT queen Jayashree Gaikwad has alleged that Tv actor Tunisha Sharma’s death is a case of “Love Jihad”.

Speaking to this reporter, she demanded a detailed and thorough investigation into the suicide probe, alleging that the accused is very wealthy and has great recourses at his disposal. “He can influence the investigation by bribing authorities concerned. There must be a proper investigation. Senior police officials must get involved in the case and must monitor and co-ordinate the investigation. There seems to be foul play. Tunisha was not the kind of girl to take her own life. She was working in the film and Tv industry for so many years. She had probably seen it all and done it all. I don’t think she would commit suicide. This is just a narrative created by the accused to escape punishment,” Jayashree Gaikwad said, adding that the case was very similar to the Shraddha Walkar murder and like Aftab Poonawala both the accused were hot-headed and violent in their relationships with their girlfriends.
