MUMBAI: Stressing that the incorrect and wrong use of Botox with contaminated or non-sterile equipment can even kill you, actor Rayya Labib has warned women particularly from the film and modeling industry.

Non-sterile equipment and incorrect administration of Botox to the face can cause death-causing and fatal fungal and bacterial infections that can reach the human brain, Rayya cautioned.

“It has become a trend to use Botox among young girls and women, even when it is not required. Instead of focusing on natural beauty, they use Botox and other products for various reasons,” she said.

“Years ago, a female friend of mine coaxed me to try it and I did. What happened was horrific. I almost died. This is was because the doctor was not careful enough. I am not trolling Uorfi. It is my genuine bit of honest advice to all women. Be very careful when using cosmetic products, particularly products like Botox, because the incorrect and wrong use and application can even kill you,” Rayya warned.

Taking to Instagram, she cautioned Uorfi saying that you look like a #bhootni (ghost) or #chudail (witch), chiding her for misusing products like Botox by inexperienced or saasta people who offer huge discounts to lure models and actors, Rayya said.
