PANAJI: After a model and aspiring actor originally hailing from Aldona in North Goa, filed a complaint with the Maharashtra police against her ex-boyfriend, for publishing her nude images on a social networking site, the accused has reportedly gone underground and was not available at his residence, the cops said.

His family said he is missing since the last week and is not traceable. They even suspected foul play by the brothers of the victim woman.

As reported yesterday, the model presently based in Mumbai, approached the cops after her friends informed her about some private and personal intimate images of herself on social media.

The 22-year-old accused former boyfriend, a resident of Borda near Margao in South Goa, is on the run, police said. He had left his residence since the last one week and is not traceable, his family claimed.

The youth who is a University-level football player had clicked the photos when the duo were in a relationship two years earlier.

The couple had stayed together at a resort at Panvel near Mumbai for two days when they were in a relationship and the youth made some videos and clicked images of his girlfriend while she was in a drunken state.

When the woman broke up the relationship as she wanted to pursue an acting and modeling career in Mumbai, the youth threatened her with dire consequences, including leaking the images.

He followed her to Mumbai and created a ruckus at the apartment where she was living with a flat mate at Andheri West in suburban Mumbai.

In spite of forgiving him for the trouble and embarrassment caused, the woman was shocked to find her personal nude images posted on social media with vulgar comments.

She approached the cops who registered a complainant and are searching for the accused who has gone underground.

As per Supreme court guidelines, names and identity of the complainant victim have not been revealed here in this report.
