Goa Cabinet Minister Sex Scandal: Victim Names Damodar Divkar, Sanu alias Prajyot, Sankalp Amonkar and one Yashwant Ghonasekar as accused in FIR

PANAJI: In a new twist to the sex scandal involving a Goa Cabinet Minister, the victim woman has filed an FIR against four persons, pressurizing her to make a video naming the Minister.

According to reports, the woman whose video and audio had gone viral in Goa, is a resident of the Mufassil police station area of ​​Bettiah in Bihar.

An FIR was registered at the Mufassil police station based on the victim’s statement. The woman said the Minister was falsely named in the video and actually helped her.

According to media reports, a Congress leader from Goa made a deal for 10 lakhs to make a video with him. The woman alleged that Rs 2 lakh was given as advance and a video was made with four people who are named as accused in the case.

The Mufassil SHO Ugranath Jha said that the woman is a resident in the jurisdiction of Mufassil, but since the crime scene is in another state, a zero FIR has been registered and sent to Margao police in South Goa. The Goa Police will investigate the matter and take further action.

The woman said in her statement that she used to live in Goa with her husband in 2007. The husband died in a vehicle accident on May 27, 2018. She met the concerned Minister while applying for compensation and the Minister was very helpful.

In the FIR, she claimed that one Yashwant Ghonasekar, Sanu alias Prajyot, local Congress leader Sankalp Amonkar, Damodar Divkar and two unknown people took advantage of her helplessness. Video, audio and photos were shot after inducing her with financial support and monetary payment.

The video was further edited and made viral on social media, she claimed. Police have added sections of the IPC pertaining to extortion, molestation, criminal conspiracy and the IT Act.
