Covid-19: Maharashtra reports 31 new Omicron variant cases; state tally reaches 141

MUMBAI: Maharashtra has reported 31 new Omicron variant cases. The state tally for Omicron has reached 141, the Health dept. said on Sunday evening.

The number of cases of fast-spreading Omicron variant has risen to 422 in India, with Maharashtra reporting the most number of infections.

India has announced “precaution doses” or booster doses for front-line workers and those above 60 from January 10.
