MUMBAI: Former model and Bhojpuri actor and porn racket accused Yasmeen Khan aka Yasmeen Dipankar Khasnavis moved the Bombay High Court on Friday for anticipatory bail in an FIR registered against her (and three others) at the Charkop police station in suburban Mumbai for various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including rape.

She had earlier approached a Mumbai Sessions court at Dindoshi, which rejected her anticipatory bail application (ABA) on Thursday.

The ABA (ABA/3444/2022) in the High Court was filed by Adv Ashok Yadav who had represented Yasmeen Khan during the earlier Crime Branch case in February 2021 last year, which included celebrities and a famous businessman as accused.

Four FIRs were registered at the Malwani police station and transferred to the Property Cell of the Crime Branch in February-March 2021.

The Charkop FIR was registered in December this year when a 29-year-old female model filed a complaint at the Charkop Police Station against four individuals, including producer and director Yasmin aka Yasmeen Khan, Anirudh Prasad Jangde, Amit Paswan, and Aditya. She had earlier approached the cops at the Chembur police station who registered the case and transferred it to Charkop police station.

Anirudh Prasad Jangde was arrested by the police, while the other three accused are absconding and police have launched a lookout for them.

“The exploits of a gang, making pornographic films in the name of a foreign web series from a building within the Charkop police station limits were revealed by a female artist after she was asked to act in a pornographic film,” the police said in a statement.
