BREAKING: Tv star Kamya Punjabi fractures her leg while shooting a fight sequence
MUMBAI: Tv actor Kamya Punjabi has fractured her leg and is almost bed-ridden, according to the latest update, but in spite of her injury she has very bravely continued her shooting.
Apparently, Kamya whom audiences love so much on screen and off-screen for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour was shooting for her serial Sanjog which airs on Zee Tv, Monday to Friday.
The incident happened on Saturday and Kamya has to wear a cast for the next couple of weeks. She specially posed for a photograph on the sets with her leg in a cast.
According to her Wikipedia page, Kamya Panjabi is an Indian film and television actress popular for playing antagonist roles in TV soaps. She participated in the Bigg Boss 7 in 2013.
She was loved and critically acclaimed for portraying negative roles in Tv serials like Reth, Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani and Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann. She has also played positive roles in Piya Ka Ghar, Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak and Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar.
She was part of the second season of Comedy Circus comedy show on Sony TV and participated in Bigg Boss 7 in Colors TV.
She has also featured in roles in Bollywood films such as Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Yaadein, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Koi Mil Gaya.
In 1997, she featured in a music video called Mehndi Mehndi, and was also part of the music video Kala Shah Kala by Anamika.
In 2019, Kamya made her theatre debut in the play Pajama Party with fellow television actress Kavita Kaushik.
