Bigg Boss 16 reeks of nepotism as Me Too accused Sajid Khan given 12 weeks MG: Madhuri Sangita Patil

MUMBAI: Marathi theatre artiste and actor Madhuri Sangita Patil has accused the makers of Bigg Boss Season 16 including the channel Colors and the production house Endemol India of alleged nepotism as according to her sex offender and Me Too accused Sajid Khan was allegedly given a 12 weeks minimum guarantee or MG.

“This practice of offering certain actors or inmates an MG, without the knowledge of other participants, defeats the very purpose and aim of the game. It is extremely unfair on the other participants who presume that the show is impartial and fair. As a matter of fact, the show is totally biased because 3-4 participants are given an MG for varying periods, which means they will not be eliminated or thrown out of the game for the period of the MG, irrespective of how they play the game, how many times they get nominated or the voting trends against them,” Madhuri said, highlighting the issue.

“The audience expects and believes the show is fair and impartial, but in reality it is exactly the opposite. Some participants are protected from eviction, irrespective of all other factors. If they are known and big actors, with huge fan followings, they should be able to face the music against the lesser known artistes and participants. What is the need for an MG,” Madhuri demanded to know?

Madhuri Sangita Patil is among the ten women who have accused Bigg Boss 16 participant and filmmaker Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. Besides Madhuri others like Sherlyn Chopra, Namrata Sharma Singh, Mandana Karimi, Aahana Kumra, Saloni Chopra, Rachel White, Karishma Upadhyay had accused the director of sexual harassment during the Me Too movement.
