MUMBAI: Responding to allegations made by Sheezan Khan’s lawyer about a person named ‘Ali’ whom she is alleged to have spoken to minutes before she committed suicide, actor Rayya Labib (and Tunisha Sharma’s friend) claimed that Sheezan Khan’s lawyer is “making up stories”.

“The Tinder account matter never came up till now, even when Sheezan Khan’s family spoke to the media. Now suddenly Mr Lawyer has got this new information while arguing for bail. Let him argue for bail on merits and on points of law. He should stop making fairy tales and read law books and the Law of Bails, instead of fairy tales,” Rayya countered.

“How does he know that Tunisha spoke to Ali minutes before her suicide. The police are not yet able to unlock her iPhone and how does Mr Lawyer know all this. Ali was her friend and not boyfriend or date,” Rayya said.

Actor Sheezan Khan’s lawyer on Monday while praying for bail, claimed that Tunisha Sharma, who died by suicide last month, had joined a dating app,Tinder, after Sheezan and she broke up.

During a bail application hearing in the Vasai Sessions court, Sheezan Khan, through his lawyer, alleged that Tunisha had contacted another person, Ali, and had gone on a date with him. Rayya has totally rubbished these statements and said Ali was just her friend.

Tunisha Sharma, who starred in ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’, was found dead on the set of the TV serial on December 24. Sheezan Khan was arrested the next day for alleged abetment of the actor’s suicide.
