Was The Cruise Ship Party A Bait Or Setup To Trap And Frame Aryan Khan?

MUMBAI: According to media reports, the Mumbai unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) first got a tipoff from a person or resident of Bhopal, Neeraj Yadav of the possibility of the presence drugs on the cruise ship Cordelia The Empress, departing Mumbai for Goa. On October 1, Neeraj Yadav called his ‘friend’ Manish Bhanushali to inform him about the drugs smuggling or consumption on the cruise. Coincidentally, both Yadav and Bhanushali are BJP workers.

Bhanushali, who was in Ahmedabad when Yadav called, told Neeraj Yadav that he had spoken to the NCB officials in Mumbai and tipped them off.

Bhanushali is a BJP worker who has access to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders and openly flaunts his photographs with them on social media. So the tipoff or information about the possible presence of drugs onboard was given to the NCB by a BJP man, who apparently had the contact phone numbers of senior NCB officials, given the fact that the NCB has stated on record that they never worked or even met Bhanushali before the raid on the cruise ship.

On the other hand, Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was invited by Pratik Gaba, who admittedly is a friend of his – and Amir Furniturewala, who also invited two others for the cruise party. Apparently, Furniturewala asked Gaba to invite Aryan Khan as he knew the duo were friends. Furniturewala in turn was told by Rishabh Sachdeva to invite Aryan Khan. Sachdeva is the brother-in-law of BJP leader Mohit Bharatiya (Khamboj), former National President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha or the youth wing of the BJP. So through a long chain of common friends, Aryan Khan was ultimately invited by a BJP man

Now, the individuals who invited Aryan Khan to the cruise party, were also detained along with him, but were mysteriously released after 2 or 3 hours, after senior BJP leaders visited the NCB office that intervening night-morning. On one hand, while opposing the bail applications, the NCB counsel argued before the Special NDPS Court that all the accused are interconnected and cannot be separated from each other. As per the NCB argument, though Aryan Khan was not carrying any drugs, his fried Arbaaz Merchant was in possession of a small quantity of drugs for personal consumption. Yet the same NCB immediately within hours released the three detainees with BJP links – who had invited Khan to the party, on the excuse that they were not connected or involved in the drugs angle.

The other persons also with BJP links – KP Gosavi and Manish Bhanushali who were the informers or khabris of the raid, were also made spot panchas or independent witnesses for the case. Not just that, KP Gosavi and Manish Bhanushali also escorted Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant to the NCB office. The duo were also present during their interrogation and even participated in the interrogation of Aryan and Arbaaz along with NCB officials.

From the above chain of events, what transpires is that one BJP team tipped off the NCB, alleging that drugs were likely to be consumed on the cruise ship, while another BJP sympathizer team, actually invited Aryan Khan and his friends to the cruise ship! What if both these teams were connected?

It seems to follow from the above facts and circumstances, that a plot or conspiracy was possibly or apparently hatched to invite Aryan Khan (by Team A) to a party, where given his youth and age, he would but naturally partake of a few puffs of a charas-laced cigarette, while another team tips off the Federal drugs agency, led by an over-enthusiastic, trigger-happy boss, keen to rid the world of drugs. And both these teams – the inviting team and the tipping team are made up of BJP workers or sympathizers?

Doesn’t this sound like a complete trap or frame-up plot right out of a low-budget Bollywood movie?
