MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan who was refused bail by a Magistrate’s Court in Mumbai has been kept at Barrack No 3 at the Arthur Road Jail, which is also known as “after”. It’s known as “after”, because undertrials and convicts who are brought to the jail after 6 pm are usually kept there. He could also be kept in Barrack No 1 depending on the discretion of the Jail Superintendent, the crowding factor and presence of other underworld gangsters in the jail.

As per jail rules, the jail is locked down at 6 pm everyday, 6 days a week and inmates cannot leave their individual cells or barracks after 6 pm. On Sundays It’s locked down at 2 pm.
