MUMBAI: TWO teams of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) were seen at Shah Rukh Khan’s Bandra residence ‘Mannat’ and at the residence of actor Ananya Pandey. Ananya is the daughter of actor Chunky Pandey, who is a friend of Aryan Khan.

An NCB official who was part of the team that went to SRK’s residence said the visit was to submit a formal notice demanding if Aryan Khan has any other electronic devices, they must be handed over to the NCB for investigation immediately.

Meanwhile, teams from the NCB on Thursday carried out raids in the Andheri area of Mumbai, acting on a lead from one of the accused in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case. Several places were searched.

An NCB team reached Ananya Pandey and Chunky Pandey’s residence at Bandra West, Mumbai. Her house at Bandra, Pali Hill, was also searched by the NCB. Ananya Pandey has been summoned by the NCB at 2 pm today. There are chances that she may be arrested today after interrogation, as incriminating WhatsApp chats were found by the NCB on Aryan Khan’s mobile phone. Some phones, a laptop and other electronic devices have been seized from Ananya’s residence by the NCB. Yesterday, the NCB submitted WhatsApp chats from Aryan Khan’s phone to the Special NDPS Court hearing his bail application. The chats are between Aryan and Ananya as well as Shanaya Kapoor.

Another NCB team was spotted outside Shah Rukh Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’ hours after he visited his son Aryan Khan at the Arthur Road jail on Thursday morning. However, the NCB clarified that there was no raid at SRK’s residence and the team was there for paperwork and to submit a notice.

Aryan Khan is among those who have been arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case. His bail application was rejected by the Special NDPS Court yesterday and he has applied for bail in the Bombay High Court.

The Bombay High Court will hear his bail plea on Tuesday.
