Women making accusations against Sajid Khan only for self-publicity: Gehana Vasisth

MUMBAI: Model, actress and producer Gehana Vasisth in a bold statement has alleged that some women like Sherlyn Chopra are making allegations against Sajid Khan only for self publicity.

Taking to social media, Gehana wrote:

Sherlyn Chopra who is making accusations against Sajid Khan is doing it for her own publicity. She could not get anywhere in her life and career and now is trying to extract the maximum publicity from the Sajid Khan #MeToo allegations #SherlynChopra #SajidKhan #BB16 #BiggBoss #SalmanKhan

Speaking about the call by several netizens to ban film maker Sajid Khan, producer and actor Gehana Vasisth said the world must give Sajid Khan an opportunity to reform and make amends.

Most of the allegations are self-motivated, with the accusers trying to extract maximum media publicity from the incident. Why didn’t they file police complaints at that time if they were aggrieved, Gehana asked?

According to Gehana Vasisth, “We all make mistakes. Maybe Sajid Khan realizes his mistakes. He has lost work and has been humiliated in public. We must give him another chance to make amends for his misdeeds. The world must make space for reform.”

Khan was in the news for the Me Too accusations leveled against him by several industry women who alleged that Sajid molested them, made passes and demanded sex for work. But Gehana has a different story to tell!

According to her, Sajid is brazen. He does not always mean what he says, he likes to shock people by saying outrageous things that hit you like a train engine at full throttle. That does not mean he is necessarily hitting on someone or asking a woman to sleep with him. He is crazy at times, but that is Sajid.
