Feeling very bad that Tina Datta was evicted from Bigg Boss 16, she provided a lot of content: Priya Soni

MUMBAI: While Tv actor Tina Datta was the latest contestant to be evicted from the reality show Bigg Boss season 16, presently on Colors Tv, model and performer Priya Soni said she is feeling very bad for the actor.

“Tina Datta gave us a lot of content. Without Tina, Bigg Boss would have been a big bore. Her antics with Shalin Bhanot – like it or hate it, will be remembered in the history of Bigg Boss. I am really feeling bad, Tina was evicted. There are others who do not deserve to be on the show, but are still on air,” Priya Soni said.

Shiv Thakare, Shalin Bhanot and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were also nominated for eviction, but according to the makers, Tina received the least number of votes from the audience, and was therefore asked to leave the Bigg Boss show. This is highly unfair. The contestant who provided really entertaining content is thrown out, Priya said.

Known for her role as Ichcha in the popular TV show Uttaran, Tina first befriended contestant Abdu Rozik and later built an equation with Shalin Bhanot.

However, it later on transpired that Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta could have pre-planned their so-called love affair in the house even before the show took off. Even the host, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan commented on their relationship inside the house and said they were faking.

They later on broke up and exposed each other in one of their fights, with Tina claiming that Shalin wanted some of her intimate items before going on the show.
