Fan groups “Friends of Manisha Rani” and “Biharis for Manisha Rani” demand action against Bebika for racial slurs in Bigg Boss OTT House

MUMBAI: In a new development, in the Bigg Boss OTT season 2 reality show, a group of fans loyal to contestant Manisha Rani have formed fan groups “Friends of Manisha Rani” and “Biharis for Manisha Rani” to support their favourite contestant. Both the groups are mentored by model and actor Ishika Borah who originally hails from Assam and is very active on the web series platform.

Both the fan groups have demanded strict action by the makers of the show against Bebika Dhruve and one or two other contestants,for what they termed “racial slurs’ against their queen Manisha Rani. According to Ishika Borah, Bebika who hails from an elite background has been constantly humiliating and demeaning Manisha Rani with regards to her education, language, knowledge and family background.

Manisha’s fans demanded the makers penalise Bebika or even remove her from the show, failing which they will launch their social media campaign against the channel and makers. Further, in a show of strength, they launched a hashtag which was trending on Sunday and Monday.

Additionally, they have sent a legal notice demanding an apology, through their lawyers to Dj Dolly Sinha who has been making vitriolic allegations against Manisha. The notice states that Dj Dolly should apologise for her comments or face stringent legal action.
