MUMBAI: Based on a prank tweet by a popular Twitter handle, several prominent news websites and portals incorrectly reported on Friday late evening that filmmaker Sajid Khan was evicted from the Bigg Boss Show. To set the record straight, Sajid Khan is NOT evicted and is very much in the Bigg Boss show.

According to a Twitter handle (The Khabri), Sajid Khan was evicted from the Bigg Boss house. The tweet posted on Friday evening got thousands of RTs, shares and comments, but later the tweet owner/twitter handle operator confessed that the post was fake and was only to expose the copycats who copy his/her posts and pass them off as their own ‘breaking news’. However, by then the damage was done and several prominent news websites reported that Sajid Khan was out of the show.

However, we are not amused and like many others who commented on the post, this was not the right way to expose the copycats and it’s a matter of trust.

Here is the Tweet that created all the trouble:

And here is the clarification by the owner of the Twitter account:

As of now, Sajid Khan is safe and sound in the Bigg Boss house, but the filmmaker and directors troubles do not end here.

Theatre artiste, regional Tv serial actor and model from Madhya Pradesh Sangita Shilpa Anand is the latest in the long list of women to accuse Sajid Khan of molestation and sexual harassment. (Read the full story here)

“People like Sajid Khan are predators. They prey on the helpless and innocent like Abdu Rozik. This is a character trait. I hope the audience recognizes this. Sajid Khan does not deserve any sympathy. He used to prey on helpless women who came to him for work when he was a successful director. He sexually humiliated and molested several women who came for auditions or to discuss acting assignments. More than 12 to 15 women, including myself, from different walks of life have accused him of sexual harassment. Several others have demanded his removal, but the makers of Bigg Boss are adamant and want to promote him,” Sangita Shilpa Anand told this website.
