Bigg Boss 16: Shiv Thakare injured, Archana Gautam responsible?

MUMBAI: Archana Gautam has been blamed both by host Karan Johar as well as by the makers for Shiv Thakare’s severe eye injury.

The non-mandali group attacked the ‘Mandali’ group during the task to get the prize money returned.

Archana Gautam went overboard and used all the food items, which she flung on the Mandali contestants, including haldi powder mixed with water.

She used the turmeric powder which was part of the food ration and threw it on Shiv with a lot of force and injured his eye. The injury was so severe that he couldn’t open his eyes and he had to be treated by a doctor sent by Bigg Boss.

Archana also used the food items that were kept in the house and wasted food, which didn’t go down well with the other contestants of the house. They did lash out at her and held her responsible.

Since some contestants including Nimrit were injured, Bigg Boss cancelled the task and the full winning amount couldn’t be regained. The prize money remained at the same amount.
