Kabul: Reports coming in from locals in Panjshir where the Taliban claims to have taken control of the entire area, said that Taliban soldiers shot dead about ten captured resistance fighters in cold blood, even after they surrendered and handed over their weapons.

Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the Resistance Front, in an audio message on his Facebook page said the resistance forces are still present in Panjshir and continue to fight Taliban forces, which has been denied by the Taliban.

Massoud further confirmed joint bombardment by Pakistan and Taliban in Panjshir which killed Fahim Dashty and many of Massoud’s family members.

He has alleged that Pakistan directly attacked Afghans in Panjshir and the international community watched silently, says reports.

Massoud added that he wouldn’t give up until his last drop of blood. He emphasized that the Taliban are continuing its attack with Pakistan’s aid, including Pakistani missiles, drones and other military equipment.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid at a press conference in Kabul said the war in the country has ended, and that he hoped Afghanistan will become a stable country.

Earlier, the Taliban announced that its forces had completely captured Panjshir province. Mujahid said they wanted to resolve the issue of Panjshir via dialogue, but the talks failed.

However, members of the resistance forces refuted the claim of the Taliban and called it false. They said the resistance force fighters are at strategic locations and fighting the Taliban.
